Storage of data.
Simmarcom’s sites are hosted externally by hosting providers who provide suitable hosting services. Simmarcom uses external services to process form data, enquiries and registration data. This data may be held in the UK, elsewhere in the EU or in the US. Backups of data are held securely (usually encrypted), in the UK.
Although we take reasonable steps to secure stored information, the Internet is a public network and the security or confidentiality of such data cannot be guaranteed. You use the Internet at your risk.
Other websites and services
We are also working with third parties to collect user data for conversion tracking and serving ads targeted tailored to our visitors’ areas of interest. Services such as Twitter allow you to opt-out of this type of data gathering from your Twitter account settings.
What we do with the stored data and how we use it
We use the stored data to provide services to you, to tailor the information presented to you, to offer you a satisfactory user experience and to update you with relevant marketing and transactional information.

We may use the data we have collected to inform you of offers, changes or enhancements to the site or to announce new service or product offerings. Some of our communications to you will be marketing messages and some will be transactional messages.
We respect your inbox and your time, so we will endeavour only to send you relevant messages.
You may opt-out of receiving marketing messages, but you are not able to decline transactional service messages as these may be important for your continued use of the site. An example might be a notification of site maintenance.
